		<p>P.S. If anyone is wondering why I haven't posted a review in a while, I have two words that should explain it all: Law School. I do still stumble when I have free time (which is rare), but even semi-regular posts seem to be a thing of the past at the moment.<br /><br />

		<p>It's Easter (Pasch) morning and it seems appropriate to post some of the better spiritual resources that I've found on the web. There is never a replacement for <i>true</i>, interactive, Christian community; but for those inclined, for a variety of reasons (some of which may be fair), to never grace the doors of an actual "church" building, here are some great sermons available on the web. I would guess that many of these are probably more engaging then most people are used to.<br />
<br />
<a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/75APHP/www.mosaic.org/podcast/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">The Mosaic podcast and video podcasts</a> from <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/2J29Im/www.mosaic.org/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">Mosaic Church</a> in L.A. are usualy very relevent and insightful.<br />
<br />
<a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/2CqC8S/www.beliefnet.com/story/172/story_17290.html/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">Mars Hill Church</a> in Grand Rapids, MI also has <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//www.mhbcmi.org/listen/index.php/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">audio archives</a> available on their site.<br />
<br />
<a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/1S8q2k/www.genesisthechurch.org/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">Genesis: The Church</a> (the web page loads in a flash pop-up) in Royal Oak, where I currently attend, has also made their <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/22qV6q/web.mac.com/genesis911/iWeb/genesis%20detroit/Podcast/Podcast.html/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">sermons</a> available through one of the <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/2y5I3N/www.genesisdetroit.com/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">pastor's blog</a>s.<br />
<br />
These churches could probably be best labeled as non-denominational or inter-denominational or "emerging" churches by some. They are typically orthodox in core beliefs, but creative and innovative in presentation and expression.<br />
<br />
 In addition to other spiritual pursuits (community, prayer, experience), there is also no replacement for <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=47&chapter=1&version=31/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">personal scripture reading</a>, but some don't even know where to start (hint: it's usually not the easiest to start at the beginning and read through the Bible, I would start with one of the <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=48&chapter=1&version=31/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">Gospels</a> and the rest of the New Testament along with the <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=23&chapter=1&version=31/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">Psalms</a> and <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=24&chapter=1&version=31/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">Proverbs</a>). The NIV is a good translation, and I'm a fan of <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=47&chapter=1&version=65/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">The Message</a>. There are also books such as "How to Read The Bible for All It's Worth" , "How to Read The Bible Book by Book" or study Bibles, but there is usually nothing better than simply reading for yourself with an open heart and mind. Even if it's just for cultural literacy (though it can and should be much more) everyone should read the New Testament at least once in their life.</p>

		<p>I've made a few posts on <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/2Anl8Q/www.wordwizz.com/pwrsof10.htm/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">relative scale</a> in the past, I'm not sure why I keep posting these, but here are a few more I found that were sort of interesting. One site dealing with <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/2NgDVP/www.kokogiak.com/megapenny/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">pennies</a>, and the other with <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/1zZMQE/www.vendian.org/envelope/dir2/lots_of_dots/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">dots</a>. What makes the dot page cool is a <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/8cMUcX/www.vendian.org/envelope/dir2/day_of_dots_clock/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">clock</a> with a <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/1AOppi/www.vendian.org/envelope/dir2/day_of_dots/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">dot</a> for every second of the day. If you try and give the clock a thumbs up, SU will treat every second like a new web page, so don't do it. Here's some more fun with <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/1wZaJg/www.fincher.org/Misc/Pennies/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">pennies</a> and <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/8AOaX1/www.turbulence.org/Works/nums/applet.html/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">numbers</a>, and <a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to/290WOk/mathforum.org/dr.math/faq/faq.doubling.pennies.html/t:4af6a917cd8df;src:blog">both</a>.<br />
