There is a tendency among students of MRI to consider K-space as something very difficult to grasp. This is totally unjustified since K-space actually enormously simplifies the systematic exposition and comprehension of most data acquisition and evaluation methods used in MRI and NMR microscopy.
Unlike the majority of introductory texts on K-space, this Note contains all the required math and provides an in-depth explanation of why K-space is so important, not just how it looks and feels.
