Adobe is producing a beta version of Dreamweaver CS4 with a nickname of Stilhetto. I thought I would give it a try and I am sure glad I did.

Dreamweaver CS4 beta has some very nice improvements over the CS3 predecessor that foster creativity through increased productivity. The new software has three huge upgrades, the Live View, Live Code view, and the Code Navigator mode. These three additions make the software worth its weight in gold for coders and designers alike.

The new Live View feature is a real time saver help locate bugs in real time and locate the stray code. The Live Code view shows the code in action seamlessly with the Live View mode, and while in Live Code you can actually freeze the java to deal with the code. The amount of time this saves over viewing in a browser is amazing.

The Code Navigator is accessible in the design view mode through a small icon. Simply locate an item on your page and click the icon. Once activated you are shown a pop up with all of the relevant code for the item in a vertical list, simply pick the area you would like to edit and you are there.

The layout has been streamlined for coders and designers alike with several subtle differences in the saved workspaces. One really nice feature is the ability to go into a vertical split screen with code and design. This layout is especially comfortable when in the live view mode.

Dreamweaver CS4 does not disappoint with its new beta. I have been pushing it pretty hard and have yet to unearth any real bugs. Hats off to the Adobe team for producing web design software that is great for the designer and the coder.

What an awesome tool Stumbled Upon is. I just joined yesterday and was stumbling for hours last night. My hat is definitely off to the originators of this place.

It amazed me how many cool relevant sites were stumbled into my browser, each being something that truly nterested me. I am going to push this place to everybody I can.

I mainly came here to network socially but I think this baby has some real educational and entertainment value as well.
