Yahoo Gets More Social with Twitter, YouTube - News and Analysis by PC Magazine

From the page: "While the debate over the social graph and how to monetize it continues among Facebook and Google watchers, Yahoo has made a more conscious effort at being more social. The company today announced some enhancements to its Yahoo Updates feature as part of its Yahoo Open Strategy (Y!OS).

Up until now, the updates, which resemble a Facebook mini-feed, could be populated with activities from other Yahoo properties such as Buzz, Music, and TV. Now, Yahoo members can funnel activities from over 20 third-party Web services to their Yahoo Updates. These new update possibilities include Twitter messages, Yelp reviews, and photos uploaded to SmugMug."
