From the page: "While the debate over the social graph and how to monetize it continues among Facebook and Google watchers, Yahoo has made a more conscious effort at being more social. The company today announced some enhancements to its Yahoo Updates feature as part of its Yahoo Open Strategy (Y!OS).

Up until now, the updates, which resemble a Facebook mini-feed, could be populated with activities from other Yahoo properties such as Buzz, Music, and TV. Now, Yahoo members can funnel activities from over 20 third-party Web services to their Yahoo Updates. These new update possibilities include Twitter messages, Yelp reviews, and photos uploaded to SmugMug."

From the page: "Most Pakistanis, when presented with the fact that our country is now the breeding ground for the most violent ideologies, and the most vicious gangs of thugs who kill in the name of religion, go back in history to explain and justify their presence in our country. They refer to the Afghan war, and the creation of an army of holy warriors to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. Then they go on to complain that the Americans quit the region soon after the Soviets did, leaving us saddled with the problem of jihadi fighters from all over the Muslim world camped on our soil."

From the page: "The revenue model for Twitter is something that has caught the imagination of a whole load of people, since everyone, I think, is keen to prevent an ad based model. (yes, including me). The Twitter CEO also agrees. And in a lesser way, there have been discussions on the revenue models of Facebook and Friendfeed as well. A good read on this here. Meanwhile, I read an excellent article, which had a P&G digital guru stating that marketers donâ€t belong to Facebook."
