Hi, Stumblers! After a brief hiatus, I'm back.

The time around the TAKS test (that's the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills for those of you outside the Lone Star State) is always a chaotic mess for us. For some reason, our legislators believe that basing life-changing decisions in a child's life on a once-a-year, multiple choice test is a good idea.

Hopefully, with our new president coming in about 250 days, No Child Left Behind will be history and we can have true education reform instead of trying to punish low performing schools.
