Refrain from singing patriotic hymns, put up our flags. Yeah, I'm sure that's what "the rest of the world" would love to see us do. What morons like this author simply do not get is that when we celebrate on the 4th of July, we celebrate what is great about America and the hope she holds dear, and the freedoms that we have that allow us to move forward, improve, assist, and grow. It sickens me and saddens me to realize how many people do not understand this very simple and precious concept.
