TIME

I recently read this in a book by Margaret Weis called Kings Sacrifice, I found it quite amusing but true.

Time is, as one twentieth-century thinker put it, so that everything doesn't happen all at once.

The measurement of time, at least by the clock, is exact.

The measurement of time by the heart and the head is far different.

Time passes, time flies
It creeps or crawls
It moves faster than light.

OLD DOG, NEW TRICKS

Well as you can see by the difference between my first blog and this one, i have learn't a fair bit about blogging and using a computor. When i first started i was a complete novice at this game , but i persevered, and with some advice and help from some others in SU land i have proved that the old adage that you can't teach an old dog new tricks is not neccesarily true.
So a word of advice to those like me just starting later in life, Don't get frustrated and lose interest when you make mistakes or can't solve a problem, learn from it and go on.There is always a solution to any problem, it may just take awhile to find it, so hunt and ask around as someone else may have the answer.
Another piece of advice is to get out there, check out other stumblers, join groups that interest you or might help you with your journey.

The things you do for your kids.
I was relaxing in the bath when the phone rang ,as usual it was out in the lounge.It was my step-daughter in a panic, her son [14 mths] woke screaming & was unresponsive & staring into space so i told her to ring the ambulance & i would get there asap.Now my wife had the car & she was at work, so i got dressed & ran 2km & got my wife out of work , our top speed was about 125 km/h.We got there at the same time as the ambulance, when we got inside young corey was awake & alert & the ambos couldnt find any thing wrong with him.But my wife was having a heart turn so they checked her out while they were there, they nearly took her away in the ambulance.In the end everybody is ok.
