I've heard people comment, since this song first became popular, how rudimentary it is, but, it's always moved me to tears.

I guess that's because I'm a lyrics girl, first and foremost.

Tonight, I was browsing around You Tube and came upon this video.

It's not the original made for Mtv one, it's one that an individual put together.

I guess I should explain, sometimes I really hate people, I'm sorry, that's a shameful confession.

I know it's wrong, and, I think it boils down to a fundamental hatred of myself.

On the other hand, sometimes I have so much love for humanity that it's intensely painful.

All I can think of are my children, how much I love them, how they changed my soul when they were born.

And this man, was a baby once.

This man was someone's child.

Maybe he's an actor, maybe it's real, I don't know.

He reminds me a lot of someone I never really knew, once upon a time.

I don't know what else to say, except maybe to apologize for being sappy, and we've just got to love each other more, care for each other more, we've just got to.
