		<p>I am amazed that I have thumbed up a Daily Mail story. But this story is not about politics but rather a police force that seems to have suddenly gone out of control. Not only is the Metropolitan Police force shown to be incompetent and arrogant, but individuals in the investigation seem to have been overwhelmed by the temptation to help themselves. Well written and researched investigative reporting of a high standard.</p>
