This link doesn't look like much on first glance, but it has numerous ebooks for kids that are downloadable for every age range concerning energy topics - including solar energy. The books are great - they have subject matter, experiments, and activities. There's also teacher's guides.

I have used the solar energy book in conjunction with solar energy science kits.

Great site for kids to learn about Classical Music and music in general. There are activity sheets and quizes to go with each show. There's one audio show a week that kids can listen to, then complete the quiz and activity sheets. Very nicely done site.

This site is free for now. It is not complete, but there are several educational games and movies on the site.
I highly reccomend the science. I've viewed several of the science shows, and they are engaging and up to date.
The language arts stuff bored me to no end.

If you sign up for a free account, you can get the lesson plans, which are easy to do for the most part, and they all have a little quiz as well. The math ones offer extra practice questions.

Great for homeschoolers! We did several of these very easy experiments - for elementary students - and they got great big lights in eyes! As a parent, what I liked was how very common the materials were to find. Most of these might already be in your kitchen. CLOUD IN A BOTTLE is very easy. We used an apple juice bottle.

This is a great site for homeschoolers to learn about diversity issues. There's maps, histories, time lines - all written from the perspectives of the indigineous peoples - more than most authorities on such subjects. Great site. There's some educational worksheets to be found on the site as well.
