Everything - I mean everything! has FOUR spatial DIMENSIONS! That’s why proteins like to fold the way they do, why it’s hard to figure out the shortest path from one point to another. We need a new “top down” way of looking at the universe, even the very small like quarks. [that's why quarks seem to disappear - they don't]. That’s where “dark matter” and “dark energy” is hiding — in fact, that’s where MASS IS. That’s where gravity lies. a “higgs field” or “higgs boson particle” is simply the 4th spacial dimension. You won’t find a particle that you can see that you can interact with in our dimension by smashing the atoms, unless you’re lucky, because it’s like being a two dimension being on a piece of paper not knowing you’re on a piece of paper. You scratch the paper’s surface and all this ’stuff’ suddenly magically appears that you didn’t see before. It’s higher dimensional stuff that fell onto your paper (ie - into your dimension). I added a new one: naplesplus.chatango.com for people in the Naples, FL area. I added it to my website, free.naplesplus.us - I just love the tool. The main thing missing from it is an easy way to locate OTHER groups. It's the groups feature that's fantastic about it. The private chat is nice but lots of people have instant messaging utiliies already. Still, it's another avenue and I think it has great potential, if semi-random chatting ever gets back into mainstream usage again!!!

I'm hooked on Spock! http://www.spock.com/Kenneth-Udut #8 on Spock Leaderboard at the moment. I've been able to find old schoolmates, old co-workers, etc and make old acquaintances new again - and Spock isn't technically even a social networking service.

I can see why some people have privacy concerns, but if nothing else, spock will remind those who are privacy minded that NOTHING you post online is private. Google has already had this information for several years now - spock just makes it more usable.

The web is PUBLIC. It's a bit of a shell-shock when you first Google your name (now you can "Spock yourself!") and find out that, well, you're OUT THERE. If you want to be private, get an unlisted phone number, throw out your cell phone, unplug from the Internet, get a shack someplace and a manual typewriter. Live in a place owned by someone else who doesn't keep any records and MAYBE, just maybe you'll keep yourself from being seen on the web. I say, embrace it. Make the most of it. Have fun! Life's too short anyhow.
