A Harley rider is passing the zoo, when he sees a little girl, leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker jumps off his bike, runs to the cage, and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A New York Times reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter says, "Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've ever seen a man do in my whole life."

The biker replies, "Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right."

The reporter says, "Well, I'm a journalist from the New York Times, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page...So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?"

The biker replies, "I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican."

The following morning the biker buys The New York Times to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:

"U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH"

Since I have suddenly become held in such high esteem by a couple of the gay members of stumbleupon over a comment I made a while back, I thought that I'd go ahead and ask a very simple question to any more potential concerned visitors to my site or to the SU review page in question.

First let me bring any possible interested bystanders up to speed. From my review of a World Net Daily article entitled,'Gay'-rights leader quits homosexuality. I stated, primarily in response to the comments of some of the other stumblers who reviewed the same article;

"The homosexual agenda's biggest fear. People coming out of the gay lifestyle. Strangely enough, these people, instead of being treated with respect and tolerance by their former gay peers, are usually intimidated into silence. They don't want anyone to realize that homosexuality is anything but a genetic predisposition. Of course if this is the case with gays, than how long till cultural propaganda teaches us to tolerate pedophiles for the same reason."

So I have obviously offended certain gay members of this community in comparing homosexuality to pedophilia. The thing is, I didn't make any such comparison....I was simply pointing out what I would expect a politically correct society to demand in the future.

My point is this....

It seemed to me then and still does, that if homosexuality is the result of a predisposed genetic trait, then it would only stand to reason that pedophilia would be as well. I have a brother who is a homosexual. He insists that, "this wasn't his choice but rather it was the way God made him. No one would choose that lifestyle". I'm going to guess that no one would choose to be a pedophile than either. For those that are offended by my remarks, please then, denounce The North American Man Boy Love Association!! When an adult male has a sexual attraction to juvenile male, you have a combination of homosexuality and pedophilia. I don't believe that this makes all homosexuals pedophiles though. I also don't believe that this makes all pedophiles homosexuals either.

So here's my question, just try to answer it honestly; If homosexuality is the result of a predisposed genetic trait, then wouldn't it stand to reason that pedophilia would be as well? How can a homosexual insist that his/her attraction to members of the same sex is the result of their genetic construction but pedophiles attraction to juveniles isn't?

I urgently needed a few days off work, but I knew the Boss would not allow me to take a leave. I thought that maybe if I acted "CRAZY" then he would tell me to take a few days off. So I hung upside down on the ceiling and made funny noises. My co-worker (who is blonde) asked me what I was doing. I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb so that the Boss would think I was "CRAZY" and give me a few days off.

A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked "What are you doing?" I told him I was a light bulb.

He said, "You are clearly stressed out. Go home and recuperate for a couple of days." I jumped down and walked out of the office. When my co-worker (the blonde) followed me, the Boss asked her "...And where do you think you're going?"

(You're gonna love this.....)

She said, "I'm going home too .... I can't work in the dark !

(And who said blondes are dumb ).

I think that Mike Huckabee's visit to my hometown did more for moral than did President Obama's visit back in January. Huckabee was positive and encouraging while Obama's message was about the president being our last hope for survival. A scary thought that private enterprise should ever be dependent on Washington politicians.

Gov Huckabee's guest included a variety of business owners, local bankers, workers and of course the Elkhart mayor Dick Moore. Aside from the mayor, the general consensus was that Elkhart has the ingredients to bounce back from these economic hard times with or without federal stimulus money. Mayor Moore appeared to have placed all of his hope and trust in the democrats spending spree.

While it is possible that industries other than the recreational vehicles and manufactured housing may be able to spring back even with the course that Obama has put us on, I'm not so sure about our largest employer the RV/MH industry. Even if the spending spree does work, (fat chance), it's a safe bet that President Obama's environmental policies will cut the fragile string that RV businesses are holding on to. Besides strong banks and credit, RV sales are somewhat dependent on low prices at the gas pump. Banning domestic oil exploration along with cap and trades, as the democratic powers that be have done, can serve only to force the City of Elkhart Indiana into ghost town status. Of course it will be a ghost town with nice passable roads and bridges.

Gov Huckabee's positive outlook, his charismatic personality and his understanding of the plight of the working person reminded me of why it was that I continued to support him in last years primaries even after John McCain had been appointed as the republican candidate.

I am sure that this is just the president's way of saving people like me, that are fortunate enough to still be employed, from the emotional trauma of falling into a higher tax bracket. Bless you Mr. President!!! Bless you!!!!!
