It's not depressing to want to change the world, even as a 9 year old!. But that doesn't fit in with modern US psychiatry or philosophy - much better to call them depressed because your not supposed to think as an adult let alone as a child. This isn't psychiatry or philosophy this is about consumption making you happy - which ultimately is does not. So keep being spoon fed your reality TV, not just to stop you thinking which it does, but because when you want to think about something other than yourself for 5 secs you have a get out clause and you want to call it depression!! and actually THAT is depression. Irony ehh.
