My officemate just offered up a rather profound statement: "The more you look, the more you see."

Well, that's all good, but I couldn't let it go without extending it to the other senses:

"The more you listen, the more you hear."
"The more you touch, the more you feel."
"The more you sniff, the more you smell."
"The more you lick, the more you taste." <-- My favorite

Some spin-offs:

"The less you bathe, the more you smell."
"The more you baste, the better you taste."

(Can "baste" be used as an intransitive verb? I say yes.)

I have to say, I'm not a big fan of Adobe's new "Ps" icon for their Photoshop branding. The P and S sounds do not really represent the title. If anything, the icon makes me think Potosop or Psotoshop.

They should at least change it to a "Ph" icon. Better yet, they should just change it back to that freaky eyeball from before.

Okay, this one's a bit of a headscratcher.

So I take it that Jewish Republicans aren't a big fan of once-again-Republican Pat Buchanan? Generally, if you see Barack Obama and Pat Buchanan on opposite sides of an Internet banner ad, you'd be safe to assume that the ominous black text in the middle is condemning one and praising the other, especially with that big thumbs up from everyone's favorite paleoconservative. And yet actually reading the ad, you realize that the Republican Jewish Coalition wants you to think poorly of both.

So what's their agenda? "Barack Obama's views are wrong, but so are the Republicans', but we're Republicans, so vote Republican!" This makes about as much sense as an ad that reads "Pat Buchanan's wrong views on Israel have been endorsed by Barack Obama" sponsored by the Democratic Jewish Coalition. For whom do we vote now?
