I just figured out the coolest thing...

Have you ever been to a web site and noticed the fancy icons that reside next to the URL in your browsers address bar? Have you ever thought to yourself, "wow I'd really like to use that fancy icon"?

Well wonder no further...

All you need to do is search your browser's temp file.

Internet Explorer
Now in IE this has always been relatively straight forward. You only click to "C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files"--replacing username with your personal information. Then you just search for .ico files linking to the URL in question, and copy the file elswhere. Done

Firefox
However, Firefox is not so yielding because Firefox stores its cache in an encrypted form. But I've learned there are a few simple steps you can take to access this information.

Open a new tab. In the address bar type "about:cache". Now the encrypted data is listed in readable form. Open the search bar and type in ".ico". Scroll through the matches until you find the URL in question. Click the link of the URL. On the next page right click the link of the URL and choose save as, and save to the location of your choice. Done
