		<p>LinkedIn vs. Plaxo <br />

If you are an avid social network user, you have heard about LinkedIn and/or Plaxo. These are the leading social network sites, especially for IT profesionals. So, what can you expect from these sites and which one is the better choice. <br />

		<p>You might have noticed that there were more activities around the Power Blog as usual. Yes, I was busy to make improvements and rewriting the user manual. I hope you are enjoying these improvements.  <br />
<br />
As I mentioned before I was in the process to connect the Power Blog with <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=ClickBank&alink=ClickBankReseller/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000" size="4">Clickbank</font></a>. Well, this was not a success story at all. For whatever reason <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=ClickBank&alink=ClickBankReseller/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000" size="4">Clickbank</font></a> didn't approve the Power Blog PRO membership. Go figure. This is exactly what made Clickbank big. I think it is more of <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=ClickBank&alink=ClickBankReseller/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000" size="4">Clickbank</font></a><font size="4">'s</font> 8 week money back policy that got into the way. I haven't seen a membership site with monthly fees that is giving more than 30 days of money back guarantee. If I'm wrong, please let me know.  <br />
<br />
I am currently working with AlertPay to add their services to the payment processor list. Unfortunately I am having major issues with their API. Hopefully I can overcome these issues soon.  <br />
<br />
I also signed up with Authorize.net. Needless to say that my application is still pending and I have no idea when and how it will be approved. The sales rep was pretty pushy to have me signed up, but now nothing is happening.  <br />
<br />
OK, these are pretty depressing news and I don't want to bother you further with my issues with service providers and their non-performance. If nothing else you got a rare view behind the scenes on what it means to run your online business on your very own program code.  <br />
<br />
<em><font size="4">But I have good news for Power Blog members.</font>  <br />
</em><br />
Through all this set backs and disappointments. I developed a new concept that lets active Power Bog members cash in. Imagine a frequent flier system for Power Blog members. The more you use the Power Blog the more you will get back.  <br />
<br />
Here's the rough outline: <br />
<ul><br />
    <li>Login once a day and your Power Blog Index will be converted into permanent points.</li><br />
    <li>Use these points to buy products at the <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=InternetMarketingToolBox&alink=Main/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000" size="4">Internet Marketing Tools</font></a> (over 100 products and counting) or convert them into credits at the <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=PowerHitsExchange&alink=Main/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000" size="4">Power Hits Exchange</font></a>.</li><br />
    <li>Members with an average Power Blog Index of 200 should be able to purchase goods from <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=InternetMarketingToolBox&alink=Main/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000" size="4">Internet Marketing Tools</font></a> worth about $30 or equally valued credits at the <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=PowerHitsExchange&alink=Main/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000" size="4">Power Hits Exchange</font></a>.</li><br />
    <li>All you need to do is to login once a day (Logging in more than once a day won't increase your points). All you need to do is to become more active.</li><br />
    <li>While you're at your account menu you could: <br />
    <ul><br />
        <li>Check out new programs and add your affiliate id to the programs you're a member, but didn't have the time to record your values to the Power Blog.</li><br />
        <li>Read some messages and collect more Power Blog Index points.</li><br />
        <li>Write a testimonial and keep collecting massive points.</li><br />
    </ul><br />
    </li><br />
</ul><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The coding is underway and you could get a head start today. Collecting the points is already active. The redemption part is a bit more code intensive and needs more testing. But it should be active soon.  <br />
<br />
I hope you enjoy the new Power Blog.  <br />
<br />
Take care, <br />
Peter</p>

		<p>Once in a while I need some positive feedback to keep doing what I am doing. If you're familiar what it means to run an online business, an affiliate program and a membership site. You know what I'm talking about. This is a lot of work and it is not like I am making boatloads of money. <br />
<br />
The one thing that keeps me going are the review comments from <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=LinkReferral&alink=Reviews/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000">LinkReferral</font></a>. There are almost 1000 reviews about the Power Blog and they are 99% positive and encouraging. I get my strength from there. <br />
<br />
<a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=LinkReferral&alink=Reviews/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000">Please read the reviews on LinkReferral.</font></a> <br />
<br />
BTW: <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=LinkReferral&alink=Main/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000">LinkReferral</font></a> is a great site to drive traffic to your site. It is not much, but it is steady and I get a lot of signups to the Power Blog. What I love about this site is its honesty. They promise 20-60 unique visitors per day. I get 35 visitors. Right in the range they promised. <br />
<br />
I highly recommend <a target="_new" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/to//powerblog.peterdobler.com/affiliate.php?program=LinkReferral&alink=Main/t:4af91d926d2cd;src:blog"><font color="#000000">LinkReferral</font></a> . <br />
<br />
Take care, <br />
Peter</p>
