One of my favorite places to shop for books, calendars and leather bound journals. I have this idea of using the leather bound journal to record thoughts, ideas, poems, events, favorite recipes, pictures of friends, plants, animals, especially my pets. I set a recycled notebook up as a tribute to my friends who have passed on. I found it at Barnes and Noble, the cover was recycled cardboard and the paper was similar but thiner brown paper. It is kewl.

Have fun shopping and if you have other ideas then share them.

Learning can be fun, yet tedious at times. Currently I am learning to become a social networker. Always loved being a social butterfly anyways, this allows me so much more freedom. I get to travel the world this way. Pretty awesome.

Blogging is a new "job" for me, well rather a vocation lately. Sharing my insights, rants, raves, recommendations, even getting tough with those who choose to take advantage of others in one form or another.

Well, catch up more later, back to finishing some of my other profiles..

Thank you for visiting.

Working at home and attending school is not easy. There are so many things that are more fun than sitting here reading school work, writing a term paper and building a business. I suppose the fun part right now is building a profile here and the other sites I am attached to. Making friends, and learning from them. I am all for learning and sharing.

Looking to build a private practice as a spiritual counselor/coach. It is my belief that to live from a spiritual core brings life to a higher level and less struggle. It does not happen over night, however with the right teacher it can happen sooner than it did for me. My journey spans twenty years coming this November, Thanksgiving. Whew.. A lot of tears, temper tantrums, disappointments, changes, losses and loads of joy, laughter, gains and abundance. I get the journey, the travel that has led me to here. I want to share that with those who are interested. Drop me a line, or comment, share your journey with me.

Thank you
Bright Blessings Abound.

This is a definite rant, and I have no one to blame but me. Recently I fell prey to an infomercial, never, ever have I purchased from infomercials. I have always researched what piqued my interest. This time I did not, just called the number ordered and turned down an expensive upgrade, at that point I should have listened to the red flag. Did not, went on with the purchase, even upgraded to faster shipping, which by the way is in and of itself a fallacy. All it means is they will set your shipment to go out that day or the next, rather than waiting. The carrier still gets it there at the same pace. Which leads into the fact that I did not get my purchase in the first three days, it was actually six days. Alright, I can live with that, however, the purchase was a book, one that I read through in a couple of hours. Not the get involved type of reading, the type where you read the first sentence, the last few words in the paragraph and go to the next, scanning each page this way in hopes of gaining something from this rambling. The entire content of interest summed up to maybe on page. Then the information is out of date and incomplete. The book is cheaper at the website, and even cheaper at Amazon.com, and shipping is way less. I spent twice what the book cost on line. And 100% more than it is actually worth. I wanted up to date information, build on what I already know, disappointment is the least of it.

I did some research after the fact, the articles on this author are not favorable anywhere. The few positive comments were on Amazon.com and those were people who do not know any better, I assume. The Federal Trade Commission has brought law suit after law suit against him, each time he publishes a book, there is a law suit following. So, I contact the company through the website, says I can send the author a question, my question was answered by his gate keepers with the usual we are sorry line. And the added information that if I want to return the book they do not reimburse for shipping and there is a processing fee. Do the math, I did, it cost me the original cost of the book, for two books I get to return the one and the result is a loss. Oh, I could resell it on Amazon, but why, I do not believe anything that is published is ethical. Why sell his rants and raves about things that we all rant and rave about, there is nothing informative about the book. Nothing that anyone could not find out for free. That is the most upsetting part of it all.

What is the book? Debt Cures by Kevin Trudeau. My total cost from his informercial: $56.13 Amazon.com $17.95 and from his site debtcures.com $19.95

Do not buy his books, here is some of what others have to say:

John Stossel from 20/20: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN5ihrECJms

From Ultraseek: this is a long list http://search.ftc.gov/query.html?col=decision&col=news&qt=trudeau&charset=iso-8859-1

This one is funny, he is trying to convince everyone he is on The View:
http://www.infomercial-hell.com/blog/2008/03/28/kevin-trudeau-tries-to-fool-people-into-thinking-they-are-watching-the-view/

The Quack Report: http://www.quackwatch.org/02ConsumerProtection/FTCActions/trudeau.html

There are lots more, just Google Kevin Trudeau.

What is the point here? I broke my own rule of research and more research, be a critical thinker and stop chasing rainbows. You will never find the end, until you stop chasing and look within.

Want the information to cure your debt then, stay tuned, I have uncovered the real truth and dare you to find out for yourself. Be a Critical Thinker. Stop volunteering as a victim. I look at this as a great event for me, proved my point...

Thank you and keep up.
