Just had a flashback to a scene from an elementary school skit I was in. I was on stage wearing my much loved white go go boots and none other than a green velvet jacket with matching mini skirt (and no, I'm not kidding). My love of Green goes far back. Anyway I was playing the part of doris from Jim Croce's song, Bad, Bad Leroy Brown...I know hilarious...

Here's the part of the song where I had to stand there and sway my hips back and forth to the music.

Well friday bout a week ago
Leroy shootin dice
And at the edge of the brbar
Sat a girl named doris
And ooh that girl looked nice
Well he cast his eyes upon her
And the trouble soon began
And leroy brown learned a lesson
bout messin with the wife of a jealous man

Incidentally, no boy was brave enough to play the role of Leroy Brown so they cast my best girl friend to play the part...God, I wish I could remember her name...I think we half giggled through the entire performance ; )

I must be in a NOSTALGIC mood today ;)
