Democrats have basically had two things to hang their hats on for the last 30 years or so: the Race Card and the Kid Card. When an argument for oppressive governmental interference can't be made on merit (can any of them?) it's time to pull out one of these trump cards.

In most cases, according to Democrats, it's all about the kids.

The ones they don't abort, anyway.

Here's one more voice questioning the "wisdom" of our legislature's piecemeal attempt to create a paid family leave program. In an opinion entitled "Democrats dug family-leave hole," the Olympian is getting its own digs in against majority Democrats in the legislature who set up this new benefit program without any way to pay for the benefits.

On April 18, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," will boast the largest U.S. opening of any documentary film ever.

Scheduled for release in 1,000 theatres, "Expelled" will be hotter than "Farenheit 9/11," which debuted on 868 screens, and much more convenient to see than "An Inconvenient Truth," which I was surprised to find opened on only four screens nationwide despite all the hype, peaking at 587 before its appeal melted.

A Christian radio station gives Barbara Walters a Grinch Award for complaining that a Christmas card she received from the White House contains a Bible verse.

The hypocrisy in so many movements, but specifically in the global warming movement, is stupifying. The statement "at least she cares" is false on its face. Caring doesn't matter, only deeds, actions matter. I could care until I was dead, but unless I did something it wouldn't matter in the least.
