Over the past� few weeks I have been trying to decide what to do with my page. I can not decide which "theme" I like best.

So I thought maybe I should ask you.. my guests and friends.
Here's my idea's:

1. Do a themed page. ( 1 topic per page)
2. Do a review of my su friends site. And post links I like from their site.
3. Or review sites from the web.

What would you like to see here?

Even weeds can be beautiful

Through the Eyes

The park bench was deserted as I sat down to read,
beneath the long, straggly branches of an old willow tree.

Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown,
for the world was intent on dragging me down.
And if that weren't enough to ruin my day,
a young boy approached me, all tired from play.
He stood right before me with his head tilted down
and said with great excitement, "Look what I found!"
In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight,
with its petals all worn not enough rain, or too little light.

Wanting him to take his dead flower and go off to play,
I faked a small smile and then shifted away.
But instead of retreating he sat next to my side
and declared with overacted surprise,
"It sure smells pretty and it's beautiful, too.
That's why I picked it; here, it's for you."
The weed before me was dying or dead,
not vibrant of colours: orange, yellow or red.
But I knew I must take it, or he might never leave.
So I reached for the flower, and replied,
"Thanks, just what I need."
But instead of him placing the flower in my hand,
he held it mid-air without reason or plan.
It was then that I noticed for the very first time
that weed-toting boy could not see. He was blind.

I heard my voice quiver, tears shone in the sun.
As I thanked him for picking the very best one.
"You're welcome," he smiled, and then ran off to play,
Unaware of the impact he'd had on my day.

I sat there and wondered how he managed to see
a self-pitying woman beneath an old willow tree.
How did he know of my self-indulged plight?
Perhaps from his heart, he'd been blessed with true sight.

Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see.
The problem was not with the world; The problem was me.
And for all of those times I myself had been blind,
I vowed to see the beauty in life,
and appreciate every second that's mine.
And then I held that wilted flower up to my nose
and smiled as I watched that young boy,
another weed in his hand,
about to change the life of an unsuspecting old man.

Senior Affair

Clyde was 87, Maude was 85.
They met at the singles club meeting and discovered over time that they
enjoyed each other's company.

After several weeks of meeting for
coffee, Clyde asked Maude out for dinner and, much to his delight, she
accepted. They had a lovely evening. They dined at the most romantic
restaurant in town.

Despite his age, they ended at his place for
an after-dinner drink. Things continued along a natural course and age
being no inhibitor, Maude soon joined Clyde for a most enjoyable roll
in the hay.

As they were basking in the glow of the magic moments they'd shared, each was lost for a time in their own thoughts.....

Clyde was thinking: "If I'd known she was a virgin, I'd have been gentler."

Maude was thinking: "If I'd known he could still do it, I'd have taken off my pantyhose."

He didn't like the casserole

A married couple in their early 60s

A married couple in their early 60s were out celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.

Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table and said, "For being such an exemplary married couple and for being faithful to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."

"Ooh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband" said the wife. The fairy moved her

magic stick and - abracadabra! - two tickets for the new QM2 luxury liner appeared in her hands.

Now it was the husband's turn. He thought for a moment and said: "Well this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this only occurs once in a lifetime, so, I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me".

The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed; but a wish is a
wish. So the fairy made a circle with her magic stick and -abracadabra!
- the husband became 92 years old.

The moral of this story..... Men might be ungrateful idiots....But fairies are......females

A crowded Virgin flight was cancelled after Virgin's 767s had been
withdrawn from service. A single attendant was rebooking a long line of
inconvenienced travelers. Suddenly an angry passenger pushed his way to the desk. He slapped his ticket down on the counter and said,
'I HAVE to be on this flight and it HAS to be FIRST CLASS'.

The attendant replied, 'I'm sorry, sir. I'll be happy to try to help you,
but I've got to help these people first, and I'm sure we'll be able to
work something out.'

The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly, so that the passengers behind him could hear, 'DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?'

Without hesitating, the attendant smiled and grabbed her public address microphone: 'May I have your attention please, may I have your attention please,' she began - her voice heard clearly throughout the terminal.

'We have a passenger here at Gate number 14 WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS.
If any of�you can help him find his identity, please come to Gate 14.'

With the folks behind him in line laughing hysterically, the man glared at the Virgin attendant, gritted his teeth and said, 'F*** You!!!'

Without flinching, she smiled and said,
(I love this bit) 'I'm sorry, sir, but you'll have to get in line for that too!!!

Two Wolves
Cherokee Wisdom .

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
