I first got this in 1975 or six. It's truly timeless, and has a cool ECM jacket and label.
It's a trio of Jan Hammer, before he sold out to pander to the smooth jazz fuckheads, and Jack De Johnette.
ECM had great American jazz artists and the cover work reflected that dark fusion of the better jazz people.

Another from Steve Hacketts "Please Don't Touch". They cut it short and added pictures, which sucks but at least it's on youtube.

Brilliant vocals by jazz singer Randy Crawford, and the interplay with the English 70's Prog Rock makes such a brilliant contrast, truly haunting, I'm a total sucker for any 70's Prog, the more English the better.

Ever since I bought Genesis "Nursery Crimes" in 7th grade thinking they would be like Black Sabbath.

Somebody put a bunch of weird warm climate footage in the youtube video.
I hate that. I hate videos, except for David Byrne and T.heads stuff, or Thomas Dolby's "Hyperactive".

There was a time when there weren't crappy videos and it was much, much, better.

The music made much bigger atmospheric places in your head when the music wasn't led astray by fucked up imagery.
