�� The Secret - Have You Watched It?

Laws of Attraction have become a everyday use for us in our household. I first bought the movie for my brother who was having some difficult times in his life. I had done my research on "Laws of Attraction" and I had seen the secret on the Oprah Show. "Yes, my kids are told to be quite and the vacuum gets shut off and I get my daily therapy with Oprah and if I am lucky even Dr. Phil" So I was compelled to isolate my brother off and have him watch the secret. What I didn't expect was how it was going to change our life at home.

My husband started the movie laughing thinking it was some hocus pocus. Pouting because the Nascar races were on and wanted to see who won Dale Jarret or Dale Earnheart JR. But as the movie progressed I noticed his irritation stopped along with his jokes. Interesting because once he gets in his mode his complaining is worse then a 2 year olds temper tantrums.

Practicing some of the everyday teachings of the secret I started to notice that our lives did align better with our wants. If some of you have read my post I have had a chronic illness for 10 years, and discovered it was Chiari I Malformation. I know I didn't create that...so I will never totally agree with we create everything in our life. But how I was going to deal with the ups and downs of this disease was something the Secret has helped me with tremendously. When the pain comes unbearable, and my kids are needing my attention I often felt like a failure. I wanted to be super mom, super entrepreneur, and super healthy. My mind frame shattered I would get depressed, discouraged, and thinking negative thoughts that weren't helping me or my family.

After the SECRET I have down days where the pain is still unbearable. But it has allowed me to say I am super mom, super entrepreneurs, and super healthy. I am going to live to see tomorrow. I have also stopped looking at Chiari I as the worst thing in my life. It has changed me and I think for the better. I was never selfish, or uncaring. But I am now more aware more appreciative of the people around me and things I took for granted I will never do again. Small things like playing a board game with the kids, or taking a walk with the family, or just curling up on the couch with a book I say a thank you for the good days. When the bad days come, I know I am going to get out of bed again and enjoy the next day with a smile. Changing my outlook has made me handle this illness and look at it as a nuisance not a tragedy.

My home based business exploded. I was working successfully before but after the secret it became almost funny how my business grew. Money came to me I didn't seek it out. I was a better trainer, my mentorship enhanced and I started adding more tools for members to use that grew there business. "I became a success by each person I helped" "Success is not about how much money you make but how many people you help to get there" Those two statements and the knowledge I had prompted me to give all to networking and the people that I aligned myself with."

My brother, his life is private and his problems I will keep it there. But I can tell you that he is thriving. He is a wonderful father, son, and brother. And I feel like I have him back. He worked real hard to get where he is, so if I asked him if the SECRET helped he has said the bad days he uses some of the teachings but he still laughs and says that didn't do much for the situation, I think because he is to macho to say otherwise

My name is Megan Vaillancourt and I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I hate to define a line with I am a mother of 3 and a wife. Makes it sound like "thats it". Thats the most important to me. I have been a Stay At Home Mom since my first child was born, he is now 10. I was an office manager of 35 people and had long hours before he was born. Nothing prepared myself for the long of hours of being a mom and managing dirty diapers, bottles temper tantrums, and sleepless nights. After the third I think I finally got the hang of it. Not going for #4 to perfect it. And mind you just as you get cocky and think you have figured it out the next child mixes it all up and you question you sanity all over again.

After my first child was born I became ill. I became a lab rat overnight and had test and more test. Doctors scrutnizing how sick are you, maybe she wants disability. Yea my goal in life is to get disability! It blew my mind! The day my neurology doctor came in with a you have Multiple Sclerosis. Here is a book go home and get educated. I was stunned, floored and had no clue where my life was heading. Then it was like "Next", I felt like the lab rat in an assembly line.

I am not going to bore you with the details of how I delt with MS. But I will tell you that I went to the doctors in disbelief that this was MS. I didn't believe it fit the profile. There was something else going on. I felt it. Years went on with Shots and Hard medicine that never helped. After begging my doctors to review my MRI films and to do a new one they did, they finally listened. Within 4 hours of that conversation I received a phone with a very sheepish neurologist apologizing and saying you do have a Chiari I Malformation of 8-9mm in your brain and a syrinx in your spine. My 9 year diagnosis changed from Multiple Scleorsis to Chiari I Malformation.

Chiari I holds alot of the same symptoms of MS. I shouldn't be angry but I was. I have had one surgery and am now looking into a brain surgery next year. Medical Technology is great it is helping so many people. But no matter how many thousands you spend in Medicine your body is yours. You know it better then any MRI, Catscan, and as a good doctor says "no matter how many years in Medicine a patient still understand there body more then we can" My advice is to Listen to it.

I have learned to deal with the sickness. I have taken charge of my life. I own a successful home based business on the internet. And have found a passion in helping others do the same. I looked for years for a Legitimate Home Based Business, and since I found it I founded a support Team to help others beable to stay at home and earn money at home. I feel like I took a bad situation and have turned my life into a positive direction. I am proud of what I do and proud that I can take what I have learned and give it to other people. Sickness didn't stop me from my goals. With my family support I think it made me a stronger person.
