		<p>Whoops! A security test at Charles de Gaulle airport placed some plastic explosives in an unsuspecting passenger&#039;s suitcase to see if sniffer dogs could find it. They didn&#039;t, now the authorities have no idea where the explosives are.<br />
<br />
I pity the passenger if he or she tried to enter another country with that same suitcase.</p>

		<p>I used to have a copy of "Oblique Strategies" on my Palm III many moons ago. They are a collection of small koan-like statements that Brian Eno thinks will help you come at a problem differently.<br />
<br />
The one that I found most useful to repeat to myself when working on my PhD was "making a brick, not building a wall".</p>
