While life can offer us thousands of lessons, this is a pretty good list. I'm only 37 at the time of this SU review but most if not all of them, I was nodding my head. I'm sure I've got a few of them that I skimmed over that I still need to learn.

Always an eye opener to see the threats to longevity. While stats can be manipulated, it's true that an individuals have a far greater risk to these problems and diseases than being involved in something more uncontrollable. This should be cause to anybody who sees this to take some action on what they can control. Many of the worst issues we face are under our control but we tend to focus on things we can't.

It's not impossible for anybody to achieve a level of greatness. This story is quite simple. Person finds their paid point. Person takes calculated measures to fix it. Consistently applied. Results happen. I found this quote intriguing... "The most dramatic change wasn't my weight or the muscles. It was my attitude"

Kraft Foods chooses to phase out 'Smart Choices' label. Seriously about time. It was hardly ever the best choice or a smart choice. Unfortunately, taking advantage of a logo is the easy way to fool the consumer. Again, you don't need a degree to do this but Learning How to Read a Nutrition Label is always the smartest choice.

Extreme details on how to design a training split based on your precise body type and variables. I have to admit, it's much more detail that I ever needed. It's not that complicated. But truthfully, it's a rather interesting concept and could prove very useful for somebody who's working out with an incorrect training split based on their muscle fiber types. Keep and open mind. You might find some real gems in this lengthy article.

Better watch out if you use a product called "Stiff Nights." Apparently it can lower your blood pressure to a dangerous level. Supplement industry gets a bad rap from all these little nothing companies trying to make a quick buck. Snake oil sales well and alive.

While I 'know' this stuff, I'm always amazed when I see a visual representation of the amount of sugar in things many people don't think twice about eating. What's even more alarming, is the clear lack of concern and/or awareness about portion control. All this sugar, plus one person eating for six and you've got a recipe for trouble.
