you look up accurate times around the world, our visitors have expressed much interest in our help to keep your local computer clock accurate, too. Atomic Clock Synchronization is the best way to make this happen.

Our freeware Atomic Clock Sync utility can help you optimize how often Windows references an atomic clock server, such as the atomic clock servers operated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States.

These pages document my experiences using modified web cameras (such as the Philips ToUCamPro) and DSLR's (such as Canon's 300D and 350D "Digital Rebels") to image the sky, including my imaging journal and some articles I've written to help spread the word. Along the way, I've also accumulated some web links to various astronomically-oriented websites and resources that, if you're at all interested in this same kind of stuff, I'm sure you'll find useful as well

LARGER than the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor is a massive monument recently erected on an island in Lake Patzcuaro, Sate of Michoacan , Mexico.
Te upheld right arm is reminiscent of the American Goddess of Liberty, but the strinking, angular lines of the Mexican are more modernistic in style. The monument is a memoral to Jose Maria Morelos, a leader in the war by which Mexico won her independence from Spain.

An Afro-Mexican legend, José Morelos!

Introduction to OLED displays and TVs

From the page: "OLEDs are a flat display technology, made by placing a series of organic thin films between two conductors. When electrical current is applied, a bright light is emitted.

Because OLEDs produce (emit) light they do not require a backlight. This means that OLEDs can be made very thin and very power efficient when compared to LCD (Which do require a white backlight), and also it might be possible to create efficient white lighting from OLEDs."

"OLED displays stack up several thin layers of materials. They operate on the attraction between positively and negatively charged particles. When voltage is applied, one layer becomes negatively charged relative to another transparent layer. As energy passes from the negatively charged (cathode) layer to the other (anode) layer, it stimulates organic material between the two, which emits light visible through an outermost layer of glass."
