This video gave me chills the entire time. The way he shoved, and groped the girls did make me want to beat his a**. But I loved the "requiem for a dream"-vibe; the pace the video moved in; and the mesmerizing effect from seeing things from a junkie/a**hole/abuser's point of view. And this video DID totally blow my mind.

Escaped from federal prison in 2001, reportedly through the laundry, and quickly regained control of his drug trafficking organization, which he still controls today. In 2008 Mexican and Colombian traffickers laundered between $18 billion and $39 billion in proceeds from wholesale shipments to the U.S. Shorty, an alleged tunnels expert, is believed to have directed anywhere from a third to half of that during the past 8 years. I'm impressed by Joaquin Guzman Loera's wits and talent. Becoming a self-made billionaire smuggling drugs probably wasn't easy. And he was only caught once, but he managed to escaped and has been free since 2001. I bet he'd be a really interesting person to speak to.
