In a nutshell?

Passionate feeling and disagreement, even anger at the possibility of broken trust is fine, as long as it doesn't cross the line into hideous behavior. We need to fight to keep civil dialogue flowing and check the ugliness at the door.

An unexpected phone call from an old college boyfriend 16 years after we broke up helped obtain closure I didn't even know I needed anymore.

I'd gotten over this relationship but getting a call and talking with a person who had learned from his mistakes changed so many things for me.

Everyone has had a damaging relationship they have had to get over, not everyone has the luck and luxury of getting assistance to do so from the person that hurt you.

Either way, unassisted or not, closure is a powerful and liberating thing. Even if you never hear from the person that wounds you, keep trying to get it for yourself.

When you have an infant pass away it can be very difficult to see their sibling reach the same age.

The minuscule series that is run on The Disney Channel simply fills me with JOY. I love them so much I could watch them over and over. The little neurotic spider is my favorite and ANYONE who can create a spider that makes an arachnophobic squee and say, 'AWWWEE! SO cute!" are GENIUSES, IMO.

Watch it. Watch several more. You won't be sorry.

Heather does an excellent job calling out a mom blogger for her insensitive (and tacky, IMO)comments about women who do not have children.

It makes me furious that some of the most divisive,hurtful barbs flung at women come from OTHER WOMEN. (Like women need one more thing to feel inferior about. Gah!)
