Okay... I don't even recognize SU anymore. That's not a judgment, just an observation. I feel like an alien here. Friend requests?

Then I got several emails from dear Roby today, talking about a Facebook app. I checked it out, but can't figure the damn thing out. Not sure how that jives with my anonymity I have here...

Well, I guess I've been neglecting my SU blog for quite some time.
Trying to juggle a new house, 3 kids, a new job, and a mortgage
leaves me a little frazzled.

It is the anniversary time of the death of one of my special SU friends, Mullman.
I just wanted to take a moment
and acknowledge his positive influence on so many of us here at SU.

Friend Request? Am I on MySpace?

I know I haven't been stumbling very much lately, but I'm confused... what's with the "friend request" thing? And if I allow someone to be my friend, that means I automatically subscribe to their pages, also? What if I don't want to? Did they lift the limited friends count of 200 so I can have more friends?

What's going on?

What MOTHER would KNOWINGLY put two teenagers under America's scrutiny during a presidential race? This pregnancy has to be hard enough on the girl (and the boy) as it is... how could her mother put her out there like that, for all the world to see and judge?

She should have thanked McCain for the opportunity, but said, "I have an infant who needs me, and my family is going through a critical time. My priority is my children."

I do not like this woman.

Hello, my friends and strangers alike.

Times, they are a changin'.

Change brings uncomfortable growth, even if it's a positive end result.

Officially a single working mother of three,
I have a new respect for others in my boat.
It's surely the greatest management challenge known to mankind.
My biggest hurdle is "when do I do stuff?"

I'm closing on my new home on July 11th, so my task list is quickly becoming the length of an old-fashioned novel.

But...

I'm happy. Really happy.

Ready or not, here I come.

I just want to say that I'm still around - I usually check in once a day - but I'm trying to adjust to a new rhythm of life, and it's leaving me tired and without much energy. I also have this horrible perfectionism thing that if I can't do an appropriately creative post, then I shouldn't do one at all. Shame on me; I'm missing all the fun.

I am working full time and moving into my new home next month, so things are out-of-sorts for now. But I'll be around. I do love it here.
