Now you would think that Starfleet would have a technology that Vulcan officers could use to take their picture without resorting to the mirror in their quarters. Like doesn't the latest version of the tricorder have a intelligent Facebook Profile Picture Function built in?

Sad, sad robots from the horde. It seems that the global economic downturn has put a crimp in the plans of our potential mechano-overlords. With the loss of untold numbers of robot positions in the manufacturing sector, the crazy metal mob will have to delay the overthrow of the bags of water (us) for a few years.

The force did not work on the planet of Giant Squirrels. (Note: if Lucas were to name the planet it would be Xoorriissqqiilll - egads I abhor the names in the Star Wars movies - and for the love of literature, never read the books - my daughter and I sat down and read the New Hope by G. Lucas - it was torture. Bad dialogue, bad imagery, bad pacing, bad, bad bad). But these photos are cool. And Darth Vader, trying to remove the squirrel had his helmet plucked off and stuffed into a giant furry cheek. Later when he managed to escape the planet he blew it up but the squirrels had e-mailed the photo offworld a week earlier. Vader was ribbed at all the villain meetings. The dark side would chuckle behind his back for years.
