I must say, as both a stumbler and a Website owner, it is interesting to wake up in the morning, look at Google Analytics, and find that one of your own pages has been served 300 times the day before because it was referred by StumbleUpon. How cool! ;o) I thank you, http://www.eloquentatheist.com thanks you and the author of that individual page thanks you, one and all.

Well, SU seems to be back to normal this evening. They must have been experiencing technical problems last night. So far, no more stumbling-too-fast messages, no more views of my own ugly page.

They still have never responded to any supports request, though. ;o)

I have to wonder why Stumbleupon is acting so oddly today. Whenever I open a browser window and click on the SU icon, I am immediately told that I am stumbling too fast. That is a bit odd, since that was my first stumble. Then, the first page I see is my own space at StumpleUpon. Hmmmm. I am hardly the most objective user to find to rate it, although it is tough to give it a thumbs up, even for me. I haven't put a lot in here. Then I am unable to stumble away. Are these geeks punishing me for something? Hell, folks, I AM a geek! I would write to the nice folks at SU support, but I have tried that twice about other things and received only the automatic response back. Oh comma well.

;o)

I'm updating this every time I get stumbled to my own page. For today, this is 11.

You know, I'm not sure that this is worth the trouble any more... I have a fairly quick mind, and I can tell in an instant that SU has served me a page time after time and I don't want to see it again. Or the subject matter is nothing at all that I am interested in. I think most of us can tell that right away. Are these people selling page views? And they don't get paid unless I stay on a page for some set amount of time? I can't figure out any other reason why they would keep bitching at me.
