I LOVE THIS BLOG! Drug policy/addiction science is a PASSION of mine, and this is one of the best blogs I've found. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blog. It gets a lot of angles, isn't didactic (which a lot of addiction related content can be - regardless of what the philosophy or perspective of the author is) and isn't pseudosciency - in other words, the author presents facts and musings without claiming omniscience. Trends in addiction are presented as neither fact or fluff, but are brought into the conversation responsibly. I think that sort of approach is so important for the general progress of improving both the policy and medicine/health around addiction.

If people want a good addiction blog (or even criminal justice or general mental health) this blog is in my small first batch of recommendations along with sites like Join Together, Drug Policy Alliance, and MAP.

From the page: "As the Associated Press wrote yesterday: â€oeWhat makes Clinton's situation uniqueâ€"and the Bosnia embellishments so damagingâ€"is the fact that the New York senator has built her candidacy on the illusion of experience. Any attack on her credentials is a potential Achilles heel.”"

From the page: "In short, a food heaven to those who see it spelling the end of obesity and poor diet. Food hell to those who believe the case for nanofood safety is still far from proven. One thing is certain: after the controversy that surrounded genetically modified foods, nano is set to become the next kitchen battleground."
