Give us peace, and do not accept the value of walls.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Could be any wall,
lots are in our human history
and some say they make good friends,
But I don't know about that
Tho I've pondered it for decades.
Sometimes I realize the wall is mine,
then I step back and try to look it through.
If I am on the ball, I remember my old poem
about the Wall-Splitter,
who spent his life trying to knock down that wall,
But who in death realized it wasn't about breaking it down,
But about climbing over,
No bricks knocked through,
No bodies lain.
Google is amazing. This is pretty close to my first legal car.
~~~~~~~~~~~

My first legal one was a 1960 Seneca. It was also called a Dart. This confused me, especially since by the time I got the car, Darts were small and quick, sort of. But this thing was a massive hunk of heavy metal with a slant-6 MOPAR and a 3 on the column. It was some kind of putrid light brown light purple with those big fins so big back then. It didn't have a radio. I added my 4-track. The seats were cloth and wide enough to foster a Mormon family. It had absolutely no get up and go, but it had amazing inertia. Look out, don't get in the way. We called her Krambo. As in, "Gitty-up/gitty-up-------Krambo, with a kind of Elvis nuance. I bought her for $100, sold her to Dean for $90. He was rear-ended and collected $100 on the insurance.

The moon it wanes; the moon it waxes.

Tonight, it's a waning crescent; later it will wax.

~~~~~~~~~~~
This heart is where it beats.
How beautiful the fingers of the heart, in their beating lifting my veils. How thankful of accepting the intention of the heart. The moon rises and sets, beating, constantly, in blossom and repose.
Thanks, Baba.
The Gonzo Papers brings us a nicely varied reminder of the coolness of the full moon upon this auspicious time of year.
My mother used to go out into the woods near her place in Northern Wisconsin @ full moon time to howl at the moon. Even the predators were afraid of her.
