Luna City Arcade - Photos

Beautiful photos of the interior of Luna City.

Luna City, if I'm remembering correctly, started out in this guy's basement (there was a program on HGTV in which they talked to him about, you know, building an 80s-style arcade in his basement, does his wife mind, etc). Now, this intricate labor-of-love -- Peter Hirschberg restores and maintains the arcade machines himself -- is located in a separate building that resembles a garage.

Although it's closed to the public, Luna City has elicited a ton of press, most recently in the Washington Post.

Cute sculptures crafted from fruits and vegetables. Does anyone know where these are from? They appear to be work by a single artist, and many of them seem to come from the same calendar (scope the punched-hole at the top of some of the images).
