I never thumb anything down on StumbleUpon, but this blog entry has essentially been duplicated with no sources or credits cited. The tiny McMeal was made by then-28-year old Nadia Caffesse and her husband. It was intended as an entry for some kind of contest at the craftster.org forums: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=111577.msg%25msg_id%25

Luna City Arcade - Photos

Beautiful photos of the interior of Luna City.

Luna City, if I'm remembering correctly, started out in this guy's basement (there was a program on HGTV in which they talked to him about, you know, building an 80s-style arcade in his basement, does his wife mind, etc). Now, this intricate labor-of-love -- Peter Hirschberg restores and maintains the arcade machines himself -- is located in a separate building that resembles a garage.

Although it's closed to the public, Luna City has elicited a ton of press, most recently in the Washington Post.

From the page: "Yasunori Mitsuda is the composer of some of gaming's finest melodies, from those found in his first project, Chrono Trigger, to the more recent epic orchestral soundtrack of Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht. Originally a composer at Square and then a contractor for many publishers, Mitsuda has become known for his distinct style, with its Celtic and New Age rock influences."

A lengthy interview with the famous video game composer, and a necessary read for fans of Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and the Xenogears games.

From the page: "'Better the devil you know,' they say, and this devil is better than ever. The Devil May Cry series, despite the uneven quality of the first three entries, has always maintained a stellar reputation among the hardcore for its unrelenting pace, smart-ass attitude and high-flying, non-stop action."

For one week, 1UP presents an exhaustive retrospective of the Devil May Cry series, including comprehensive coverage of, and the final verdict on, Devil May Cry 4.

Cute sculptures crafted from fruits and vegetables. Does anyone know where these are from? They appear to be work by a single artist, and many of them seem to come from the same calendar (scope the punched-hole at the top of some of the images).
