Just got back from vacation, touring the entire eastern part of the USA. Interestingly, I saw an equal number of Obama bumper stickers as I did GW bumper stickers (I took a running tally)- and I only saw one McCain bumper sticker. I figured going through blue state territory and especially around DC I'd see a lot more Obama's.

I think that is quite telling, especially when you factor in that GW's last election was over 4 years ago and Obamas' was a mere 6 months ago. And I guess no one likes McCain, but we all knew that.

Why does " ✈ ▐▐ " keep surfacing on the web? I saw it a couple weeks ago on the google trends widget, and it was volcanic, so that means a lot of people were typing that in the search bar. I know it is a 9-11 reference, but when I google search on it I find nothing. So why this particular symbol now?

MY CREATIVE TIP OF THE DAY...
This is a picture of my cookbook (a three ring binder where I keep all my favorite recipes)
I had the idea to type the recipes out and have them on my computer, but also a nice legible version for my cookbook too. Yesterday I was inspired further to make my cookbook into a "photo album" of sorts. When I make something from the cookbook now I photograph it in progress, especially when my son helps out. Years from now when I make those recipes and he has long since left home I bet it will make them extra special.

I am a resident of Iowa, so perhaps that may be one reason why I am getting 1 to 2 calls PER DAY from the Ron Paul campaign... but I am FED UP!!! No other candidate is HARASSING ME like this. This has been going on for the last few weeks now and I had been nice and pleasant and answered questions, and took their surveys (some of which lasted 5 minutes)... then last week as soon as I heard anything regarding "Ron Paul" I would just hang up (although sometimes they won't tell you they are with Ron Paul until the end of the call). Today I had finally had it, and yelled at the guy to 'quit calling me' and then hung up, though he probably had no idea why I would be so frustrated.

RON PAUL, you are annoying the shit out of me with your telemarketers. Is anyone from any other state getting these frequent calls? If not, beware- they may be coming soon.

I think although he is trying to be descriptive of me (having never met me or emailed me before this), he is probably being more descriptive of himself. Though, I can't presume to know anything about his nasal features. Perhaps he has a lovely nose. Mine, I admit is hobbit-like. But what I do know for sure is this guy needs some serious help learning to type. How can I possibly take an insult seriously if his IQ is only lukewarm at best?
