The best online resource for the KJT of the Old and New Testament that I've ever come across. Also the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price, all online, fully search able and completely indexed. Kudos!

Thumbs down. Any Mormon that cares to learn about the translation process can read any number of historical references on the subject published by the Church.

There's no conspiracy, there's no cover-up, and I've been to church all my life and have never seen any of those illustrations on this site. Obviously the artist took artistic license to simplify the concept. Just like a painting of Adam and Eve will show an apple (which isn't the fruit they ate) but an apple just gets the point across easily.

Information on this site is fairly accurate, though incomplete... but this quote, "To this day, the church prefers not to depict the Book of Mormon translation process in a manner that is consistent with the quote above. Instead, the traditional "literal translation" images are conveyed" seriously needs a reference in order to be stated as fact. I've never seen any evidence of this, and I've been well aware of the translation process ever since I bothered spending a few minutes looking into it.
