Throughout my life, I have only ever been genuinely saddened to the point of tears over the deaths of two celebrities: Mr. Rogers and Michael Jackson. In childhood, I idolized these men- both of whom helped me solidify my hold on the English language.

But rather than being distraught over their loss as a result of fandom, I am saddened over the impending messages: that I am no longer a free-spirited, innocent child and that aging ultimately results in death.

"But Sleep Won't Come" is the creation of Sha Ongelungel, a chronic insomniac who literally has all the time to sift through news and rant/rave accordingly. The site is primarily focused on advocacy and promoting awareness about insomnia and mental disorders, but does include topical postings about the ongoings of the world.

If you've never, ever heard of Andy Borowitz- then you've probably never bothered reading the Huffington Post. For the sake of convenience ('cause I'm just that kind of girl), let me tell you a little about this man and his hilarious hilarity:

Mr. Borowitz is a comedian and satirist who, in the late 1990s, began e-mailing humorous fake news stories to friends. In 2001, he founded the Borowitz Report, a site that posts one 250-word news satire every weekday. The site led to greater fame and widespread attention for Borowitz as a political satirist.

With all that said- I am concerned about a certain portion of Mr. Borowitz' audience, a portion I refer to as being subliterate. Subliteracy is a uniquely America epidemic, characterized by seemingly intelligent adults who somehow miss very obvious points...
