Here is another necklace, which is similar to the "Lime Cocktail" bracelet I posted a few days ago. It features the same lime and mandarin faceted glass beads, along with some beautiful green peridot and yellow citrine, sterling silver, and foil-lined glass beads. I love how juicy the colors are!

I've been inspired to do some colorful things lately with beads. Here is a necklace in beautiful shades of blue and purple, featuring light and dark purple amethyst, tanzanite, faceted cathedral beads, quartz, and sterling silver. Hope you like it!

Here's another bracelet from this weekend. It is just about the opposite of the tangy colors of the "Lime Cocktail." I'm calling it "Champagne," because the faceted beads in pale shades of pink and peach remind me of the bubbly. Since the color is so subtle, the shine is what catches the eye. Enjoy!

Since it was too hot to do much outdoors this weekend, I stayed in and worked on a couple of new bracelets. Here is one that I dubbed "Lime Cocktail," because it is bright and fresh, and reminds me of a bowl of citrus salad, with lots of lime green and orange. There are also a couple of purple beads thrown in for a little zing of contrast. I guess those would be like cranberries or grapes, or a shot of grenadine, just for fun! Hope you like it!

What is up with this heat?! We made it to 90 yesterday in central Indiana, and the normal high for this time of year is 70. I want my autumn back! At this rate, everybody's pumpkins will be rotten by Halloween. The weather people say it will be chilly by the end of the week. I'm looking forward to doing all my favorite fall stuff, like making chili and baking bread and pumpkin pie and stuff. Sorry for the rant. I just couldn't take it anymore. Happy Monday! :-)

Hello, friends! Here is a new design - hot off the crochet hook, and not listed in my shop yet. I'm calling it "Shimmering Sunrise," because the fire-polished, faceted beads are in shades of red, pink, salmon, and clear, and they remind me of the stripes in the sky as the sun comes up.
