Y'know This week was HORRIFIC in that I had to Pound out 9 Inked pages of ACTD: Reloaded. And let me tell you something, I had a fucking blast doing it in spite of Constant interruptions and Bouts of Sheer laziness. Plus I had to rewrite a scene that was always a bit Wonky to Me in the Original.
Now before some of you ask...NO FUCKING SPOILERS!

That being said On http://thewebcomiclist.com there was a resurrection of a thread titled "Sexism and web-comics" or something like that...and It kind of got me thinking, a lot of the consensus was that Sexism in a web-comic was not so much WRONG, but Boring. That sexism pretty much the work of a writer too fucking lazy to work on His characterization. That essentially a lot of Male writers have a tough time creating believable female characters since they don't really have the right parts. and Vice Verse on the female artists.
For some strange reason I wanted to add my own two sense but by then the topic had pretty much been talked out. Oh well.
Also, I am planning on a crossover for WarMage which will start in august (Roughly)...It should be rather fascinating!

Dumok's Comics Has Now opened up and the following titles are Now available:
A Call to Destiny: A Gathering Storm 1 This is the collaborative work between Myself and Arteestx, the creator of Xolta This guy has done an AWESOME job of reworking the Art for My comic and The second Issue that's coming up will be Just plain AWESOME!! Check it out!

WarMage: Awakenings and Warmage: Inquisition are now On sale, with Warmage: Wrath and WarMage: Invasion soon to follow. These are Written and Illustrated by me. However, if there are any Other artists who want to try their hand at these titles, Drop Me a Line and Let me see what you can do.

In the Mean time, On the Webcomic front, I will soon be wrapping up the Intruige in Atlantis story line for A Call to destiny, and Part of Me is really tempted to stretch it out as long as possible. but to be honest, It would be a disservice to me and the fans if I don't try to do the comic justice.

But for those Fans of Monster Lover, Let me just say that I am pondering selling that title as well Just as soon as I wrap up the second issue and start the third. I Pronise you wont be disappointed.
Also dont forget to Check out My Webcomic Lessons which is the cross over series for A Call to Destiny and Xolta. While it's Not canon to Either comic, It's a fun comic for me to work on.

Okay boys and Girls,
Yesterday, (Saturday) I went to the big apple comic book convention and I was ready to really promote my web-comics, and It was one of the most REWARDING experiences I have had yet. I spoke with a few of the artists and even an Editor from Marvel comics and it turned out that My work has been "HEARD OF".
now to most folks, it won't sound like a big deal, but, to have an editor from MARVEL COMICS say that he has heard of My comic (War Mage specifically) is dad gum gratifying. I even got Interviewed for a local podcast titled "Dafixers hide out" where I talked about My web-comics AAAAAANNNNNNNDDDD how I got started. Needless to say I did a lot of shameless plugging. http://dafixer.com (Alright you pervs, get your mind out of the gutter!) The Interview will hopefully air in a couple of weeks, I will keep all of you posted.
I even got a piece of art from a guy named Kenly Dillard, who banged out a War Mage sketch with MASSIVE amounts of detail in under ten minutes,,(I was so Jealous). I also got to spend some time with Tim Vigil talking shop and He even gave me some tips...(heh heh heh).
I am so stoked it's a wonder that I even feel tired right now.
Anyway, I got myself some new fonts, and even a fresh perspective on what I am going to be doing.

Story Updates:
A Call to Destiny: The Intruige in Atlantis story line continues with
a "Clandestine" Meeting between Ariel and The Regent. So far, Jaren
has slowly come to learn why this marriage between Olleana and Kas is
happening thanks to Some intell by Jerah. Unfortunately, Jerah "had
to" break the ship's rule about screwing outsider the crew to get it.
Shi had told Jaren and while he was upset about it, The information
shi gained helped him to have some insight.

Tsuki and Kriti about Llewllyn's Father and how he gained his powers.

Lessons: A Cross Over for A Call to Destiny and Xolta: This Is a non
Canon cross over I am working on with Min from Xolta temporarily
joining the crew while Rivka, Kallisti, Babh and Ragmorshaga are on
Lemuria to await the birth of Rivka's Baby. The story so far is that
Min is introduced and She brings a Letter from Admiral Kara Gaal
"Politely requesting" that Jaren Hire her for the time being.

Okay so on to the news:

Issue two of A Call to Destiny: A Gathering Storm is coming along well
and I am sure that when you finally see it you will be impressed.
Which Reminds me that Issue one is still on sale on Lulu.com. Make
sure you check out the site and pick up a copy, You'll see alot of
things that Are NOT in the webcomic (Like better art thanks to
ArteestX) Plus there are some more story details that will help fix
some continuity mistakes I have made.
If the book seems a bit much in terms of price then Pick up the
download and let ArteestX know that you think he did an awesome Job.

Once I Wrap things up with "Intruige in Atlantis", I am going to Lay
off ACTD for a while, perhaps Indefinitely (Yes there will be an
epilogue which will give you a clue as to Jaren's and the crew's
Future and Leave me some loose ends to go back to) I am currently on a
good roll with the comic and I want to wrap things up while I am still
on a good place with the comic.
I will still have my other titles to work on and I might come up with
other stories. PLUS I want to devote More time to working on the comic
books/graphic novels so that I don't do a half assed Job with them.
It's been TWO years since I started the comic, and while I will try to
wrap things up by page 300, Once I do it will not be updated for a
while. So yell scream and Holler at me now...Don't say I didn't say
anything.
