O.D.ing on SATC at Yahoo Shine

I think I have a new disease. It's called Sex and The City fatigue. Symptoms include accepting tacky fashion as cute, empathizing with (and weeping over) self-centered, fictional characters whom I might never like in real life, and the inability to answer simple questions like, "Was the movie good?" "would you sleep with Aidan?" "Was Kim Cattrall a b*tch?" You see, for the past month I have been completely immersed in all things SATC. I've written about the ridiculous branding of the movie, I've (sometimes harshly) judged the ladies' red-carpet fashion, I paid tribute to the show's undeniably good style, and I've even interviewed the stars. And I can't do it anymore. It's like too much Thanksgiving dinner. Delicious while it lasted, but eventually you feel stuffed and catatonic and numb. So, dear readers, forgive me. I had about 8 more SATC posts planned for you. But I just can't. Go see the movie tonight, I'll take an SATC fast over the weekend, and we'll talk about it on Monday.
