Four Reasons Why Hyperinflation Hasnt Hit the U.S. Economy...Yet

Here's a plain-English explanation for why hyperinflation has not happened in our economy. Not YET. When the Federal Reserve announces "quantitative easing" it's a nice way of saying they are running the printing press on the sly and debasing the currency. This will have the effect of reducing the value of the currency until it is eventually worthless, hence there is no longer a debt. This is the kind of default they have chosen by creating trillions of new dollars at the expense of everyone.

"It is important to note that one of the early warning signs of hyperinflation is a rising stock market."

I've been watching the price of gold because I thought it might be a good early warning sign of hyperinflation. According to this author, a rising stock market is another early warning sign. Higher prices on stocks would normally indicate a profit for investors, but in this case it merely shows the value remaining relatively constant in relation to everything else. More importantly, it predicts serious trouble brewing just over the horizon! There's a very interesting trend chart that correlates the Fed's new money with a rising market.

Michael Moore is either a misguided radical or a fraud. Sheldon Richman exposes him as the phony radical that he really is. I can't stand when people blame the free market for the ills of society. It is as much a law of nature as gravity and as common sense as cause and effect.

Sheldon Richman is waiting for the Health-care debate to begin. So far the debating we've been hearing is "more a spat between two sects of the Church of the Omniscient State". The alternative, the free market is nowhere to be found. Every bad thing about health-care is the government's doing and there will not be a debate, only the status quo.

Here's the truth about health care reform, but the bureaucrats in Washington are not listening. They can't resist trying to fix things. But as the author points out, they caused the problems in the first place and have a dismal track record when it comes to health care.

Thomas Greco, Jr. defines the dangers and desperation that is characteristic of our present "political" money system. He offers the world a new grass-roots form of private money, the subject of his years of research, to liberate people in the hour of their greatest need. This article will interest economic minded patriots with the best money solution since Colonial Scrip.
