Okay, I've no idea who these people are. My curiosity's peaked, nonetheless. I stumbled upon this article while trying to find out why XP Pro imploded when I upgraded to Windows Media Player 11.

What a freaking nightmare it's been.

So, now I'm trying to find out what I might try before reformatting my PC. Having used Windows for as long as I have, I know formatting is inevitable. God, I hate MS, all things MS.

A solid article outlining the practical reasons for businesses to adopt standards compliant websites:

From the page: "Quite often, a company needs to manage several kinds of Web sites -- usually an external Web site (Internet), one or several internal sites (intranet) and sometimes, B2B sites (extranet). Within each of these Web domains, individual sites can be very different depending on their function and purpose. For example, it is common to see combinations of corporate sites, marketing, customer support, portals, knowledge bases, forums and online applications. In large international corporations, one can count hundreds, if not thousands, of sites -- often managed by different teams."

Cool, kind of off beat sites to stumlbe, such as Jen Gotch Photography. Stumblers like Nessuna introduce us to smaller niche artists, photographers and writers (but aren't most of us smaller niche writers? :-D).

This is one of about 8 different species of butterflies I saw on this hike. The smallest was light blue and had a wing span of barely an inch. It's amazing what you can see when you stop and look.
