Fantastic small museum in the heart of Bloomsbury, London, that tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, the first home for abandoned children in Britain and the first public art gallery. This Museum is a facinating look at social history, art and music with collections ranging from tokens left by mothers with their children to art works by Hogarth and Handel's will. There is always something going on at the Museum from talks to film screenings, exhibitions and performances.

This will be a fantastic free evening of discussion and an interesting opportunity to hear from people who grew up in the Foundling Hospital in it's final days as a home for abandonded children. The role of women as single parents through the ages to the current social issues they deal with will be covered and wine will be served!

A variety of fantastic music events, usually focused on Handel and Early Music. These events are extremely affordable and often free. The Foundling Museum is a beautiful historic venue and in the perfect central London location near Russell Square Underground Station and Kings Cross.
