Listening only to the words of your party and refusing to acknowledge the words of any other party is short-sighted, childish hypocrisy. And so:

If your thoughts lean toward "The GOP hates everybody and they don't want anybody to have health insurance and they don't care if we die or that people go broke just because they're sick!", I suggest you check out the GOP's thoughts on health care reform. I was particularly interested in this link, and not just because his son is my favorite panelist on "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!"

If you lean more toward "Obama wants to kill our elderly and pile more debt on us and turn our children into socialists!", I suggest you check out the White House page about the situation.

If you, like me, think that both sides are lying, go get the facts yourself. (WARNING: It's a PDF)

If you like facts but are lazy, a good place to start is FactCheck.org, but as always I recommend that you get your information from more than one source on any topic you'd like to learn about at all, ever.

If you just want to yell, well, get on it, but know that I'm judging you.

New job makes me work, so when I get home I don't really want to be on the computer.

The sign says "Shoplifting it doesn't pay. We prosecute shoplifters and vandals." Holding it against a pillow to make it more legible. It used to hang on the wall of a Montgomery Ward's store. Then it was in my room for a few years. Now it lives in Indianapolis. Don't worry about how it got there, it's not your business. And I think this, actually, is the oldest picture I have of me.
