What is the Mardi Gras Float Entry about?
The BrizVegas GangStars & Ashlee [Lil' Romeo's wife] are putting a Mardi Gras Float together called - "Lil' Romeo's Heaven".

The GangStars.. are the DragKings of Brisbane & dedicating this float to one of their crew members.. “Lil’ Romeo”.

For those of you who don't know her, Lil' Romeo [Krissy] married Ashlee. She was a DragKing & a fundamental member of the BrizVegas GangStars. Romeo was also an active & amazing LGBIQ community icon.. but her life was cut short when she was tragically taken, from all of us, during a robbery whilst she was at her place of work on the 8.8.08! [please refer to the articles at the end of this email.]

Lil’ Romeo left behind her beautiful wife, an extensive family & a community.. all of whom adored her. We want to honour our dear friend by letting the world know she was not only here, she made her mark with extreme queer pride & will remain in our hearts forever!

Description of “Lil’ Romeo’s Heaven”.
Lil’ Romeo loved.. giving people a smile.. applause.. being a Gangster.. dressing up.. showing off.. & strutting her stuff.. in style!

We want Romeo’s supporters, to dress up like Gangsters [old school + homey’s], lead the way.. & carry 2xpaintings of Lil’ Romeo..
1. King-size Portrait of Lil’ Romeo.
2. The Fond Farewell.
whilst Ashlee [romeo’s wife] & The GangStars follow closely behind sprinkling a Lil’ Romeo Magic down the parade route.
