How are they going to monitor what is illegal/legit???? Downloading from itunes or online stores also uses bandwidth, and yes they could track major stores like itunes perhaps, but for other smaller sites, or indie bands where u pay through paypal - seriously its going to be impossible to track every single legit store online -_- And what about extracting audio from youtube?
Theres this very fine line between legal/non legal and i can see a whole lotta issues coming from this badly thought out "solution" (not surprised 1/4 of radiohead signed this either....after the gimmick they pulled with in rainbows, it just figures)
