Mainers who can't afford to heat their homes this winter can get help from a new source. Citizens Energy has been ...

... helping people in Massachusetts for years. But now they're expanding the effort to Maine and a number of other states, with help from a controversial source.

Citizens Energy is a non-profit organization started 27 years ago by Joe Kennedy ... READ MORE

Al Gore's 35 Convenient Lies
We now itemize 35 of the scientific errors and exaggerations in Al Gore’s movie. The first nine were listed by the judge in the High Court in London in October 2007 as being “errors.” The remaining 26 errors are just as inaccurate or exaggerated as the nine spelt out by the judge, who made it plain during the proceedings that the Court had not had time to consider more than these few errors. The judge found these errors serious enough to require the UK Government to pay substantial costs to the plaintiff.
http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/monckton/goreerrors.html

Hi All,

This is in regard to the kid who was tased by the rent-a-cops in FL last week. It is is extremely important issue, not in any way like fluff pieces.

FIRST THEY CAME FOR THE MOUTHY PUNK KID IN FL
----------------------------------------------

First they came for The Punk Liberal Kid at the FL University
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Punk Kid.

Then they came for the other Loud-Mouths
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Loud-Mouth.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.
=========================

Note: The compassion is not for the Kid or his cause, but the compassion is to support our Inaliable Rights as human beings! These rights are not "selective" and shame on anyone who tries to convince us that they are :(

Remember: Equality, rightly understood as our founding fathers understood it, leads to liberty and to the emancipation of creative differences; wrongly understood, as it has been so tragically in our time, it leads first to conformity and then to despotism.

Jogging With Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton started jogging near his
new home in Chappaqua..

But on each run he happened to jog
past a hooker standing on the same
street corner, day after day.

With some apprehension he would brace
himself as he approached her for what
was most certainly to follow.

"Fifty dollars!" she would cry
out from the curb.

"No, Five dollars!"
fired back Clinton .

This ritual between Bill and the
hooker continued for days.

He'd run by and she'd yell,
"Fifty dollars!"

And he'd yell back,
"Five dollars!"

One day however,
Hillary decided that she
wanted to accompany her
husband on his jog!

As the jogging couple neared the problematic
street corner, Bill realized the "pro" would
bark her $50 offer and Hillary would
wonder what he'd really
been doing on all his past outings.

He realized he should have a
darn good explanation
for the junior Senator.

As they jogged into the turn that would
take them past the corner,
Bill became even more apprehensive
than usual.

Sure enough,
there was the hooker!

Bill tried to avoid the Shady Lady's eyes
as she watched the pair jog past.

Then,
from the sidewalk,
the hooker yelled...

See what you get for five bucks?

Last few elections did more to sell America down the river than anything in history (Clinton -> China -> Arkansas -> Wal-mart -> bye bye $$ -AND- Bush -> Saudi -> Oil -> Haliburtin moving to Dubai = bye bye $$). I really believe most Americans are too blinded by the mainstream media and their braindumbing/distractions (i.e. Anna-Nicole, Paris Hilton, Brittney Spears) to even notice that the US is being sold cheaply to foreign interests. We just barely evaded the sneaky Dubai Ports Deal thanks to "new media" epose outlets like the internet/blogosphere and talk radio.

The mainstream media outlets like CNN, FoxNews, USA Today and the like are petrified of the new media and despite their tardy efforts to discredit it, the new media is growing leaps and bounds. Keeping the free internet free has a lot to do with it. I guess there's a reason why the first amendment is #1. Speaking of the first amendment, i guess you heard that there was a "peace" rally in Portland last week where they burned a soldier in effigy and defecated in the stars and stripes. My God, those people are really sick.

Yeh, how COULD campaign finance and lobbying be reformed? Well, doesnt seem easy, but doesn't mean it's not possible. I mean, prohibition PASSED and was enforced. Later, we realized the error of that way and corrcted it. Anything is possible.

It is unfortunate to me that people see the environmental issue as $$ vs earth. It is a corporate properity that does much good for the country, but there is much more than a stock price. There are many more concerns and one of them is the environment. As Dr Mike Savage stated last week on the air, "The bottom line should never be the bottom line." That is a shade of grey. "$$ vs earth" -- It is not that black and white and Mr Gore should be ashamed for exploiting the public for his cause in such a way. I see no difference at all in Bush making his case for going to war and Gore making his case for green fees (where people pay him as a form of environmental redemption). The global warming myth has less real science behind it than "intelligent design" does and thats just sad. I do not blame anyone for bringing environmental issues to the forefront, but it should not be done in such a shameful fashion and in lies.
