I am hating StumbleUpon right now. Okay, I don't really mean that (I love you StumbleUpon), but I am just irritated. Why is lesbian culture automatically an adult topic? There is much more to me as a lesbian than all the hot lesbo sex I have. And why do people (mostly dudes) classify totally gross pictures of nasty straight girls having sex as lesbian culture instead of lesbian sex, or more appropriately, porn? Sorry about the rant, but as I was going through some pretty interesting lesbian blogs, it occurred to me that most of them are pretty far from adult topics. Forcing all pages that have to do with lesbian culture into an adult topic seems discriminatory. Blah.

So I asked this question in a message to StumbleUpon, and this is the response I received:

Am I satisfied with that response? Not really. But I guess we will see what changes are made in the future, if any.

Tropical Storm Fay is disrupting my power off and on. So I have spurts of wireless, haha. Lots of trees down around here, some way too close to the house. From what I hear, it's this bad or worse all over town. It's a lot of rain, and pretty strong winds. All I have been hearing for days is how it will just be a little rain, nothing to worry about, but it seems it's doing more damage than was thought possible. Eight people have died in Florida so far. Now I am reading that it will head towards Louisiana, which is really the last thing they need.

Lately I have had a slew of ridiculous conservatives messaging me to tell me I should not vote for Obama. Let me tell you all now, this is a waste of your time. I am voting for Obama. I have done tons of research about his policies and opinions. I have read his books (and yes, I found them to be very moving and poignant). I want him to be the next president. No matter what kind of conservative shit you send me, I will still vote for Obama. If you really feel you must campaign for McCain or one of the hapless losers who has no chance, like Ron Paul, then find an undecided voter (preferably one who actually shares your ideals). I do not care what you think of Barack Obama. I will never vote for McCain and I think Ron Paul is a fruit loop.
