The Rocky Mountain Tool Collectors is a great organization for those interested in woodworking/metalworking/mining and other artifacts from the days of yore. If you live in Colorado or New Mexico, consider attending a meeting!

Ahhhh, the Selsuns. Though this page is old and doesnt quite reflect the current line-up it definitly captures the look and feel of this unique and wonderful Albuquerque band. Mr Fish also plays with the Handsome Family and my own band the Rivet Gang.

Brett and Rennie live down the street from me and write some
of the most fascinating songs I have heard in a while. Their
website is purposefully low res and cheesy which suits them just
fine... check out their latest release Singing Bones, which I have been spinning quite a lot lately.

Just back from the Labour Day weekend festival, despite the rain, it was a fantastic camping trip and great music to be had. My 2 big musical discoveries include mando player Matt Flinner and his current guitarist, Ross Martin. Also was blown away at the workshop by the guitarists for the Waybacks. These guys are well worth looking into further, I know I am!

Listened to these 'books on tape' while driving the kids out to San Diego this summer. The kids had been reading them for a few months, but this was my first exposure. I must say I approve.

What fun books!

It was inspiration to me back in 1985... When i first heard the Repo-Man sound track and the Flag shook me out of the jazz-fusion Stanley Clark/Al Dimeola thing I was into at the time.

We soon started our own punk bands.
