yeah cause drunken fun must mean no depression? ridiculous. no correlation at all. in fact, depressed people often USE alcohol to function. and most people i know smile in the face of depression, too.

this is another attempt at unsurance companies to appeal to "surface appearances" and the whole "outsides must match insides" mitote. as long as we have a world that believes pretty = better and a smile = happy well then....unsurance companies will be successful at denying benefits for the mentally or emotionally unwell.

i like the comment: "She's either mentally ill, or these are the effects of getting shitted on ur entire life and realizing that you'll never attain retribution."

poor thing. can you imagine having that kind of anger? she spent time calling him names [terrorist, rapist, son-of-a-bitch, abuser, hater, hurter, life-abuser] and threatening him and exaggerating deaths due to telemarketers... so she is probably lonely too. this is her life; yelling "her story" to a telemarketer she claims she doesn't want calling her.

I could not help but notice he teaches in the deep south and from his stories, they mirror precisely the ones I see from adults in the world and online. Of course my sampling is smaller than 25 students and 6 or 7 periods of them 5 days a week but I concur on the validity of his perceptions of what he sees.

From the page:

6th period - the day after President Obama was elected, a number of our white students decided they would not be attending school, as a form of protest and a show of disgust. They now puff up like blowfish when someone mentions the president's name. They growl about his inherent "Muslimness" and his "communist plans". They know he's going usurp congress anytime now, they just don't know when.
