It appears that we need organize and document the hundreds of links we have found for you in our plex. I'm working on that now, so you might have to adjust how you navigate to favorite web resources.

You can help, of course, since http://off2trade.com/ is a free community oriented service. We are looking primarily for sites that help you get things done; sites that make you more productive.

As of today, I shall begin using Stumbleupon to review all the sites we are indexing on our search engine and adding to the plex. This should give you a better idea of what we are looking for. If you find a site that meets our criteria, one that is especially useful for helping others, please let us know.

Now, it is even easier to find resources to make your surfing and computer activities more productive.

I have just updated the homepage at http://off2trade.com/. It should be much easier to find what you need now. In addition, I have added a site map that links to all the useful web sites we have found for you.

The site features a novel navigation system, called a plex. Don't let it get in your way, you can hide the plex by clicking on the red triangle in the upper right corner of your browser or to show the plex if it is hidden. On most browsers you can also view more of the web sites you visit using the F11 key.

Enhance your surfing experience with hand-picked, popular web sites: http://off2trade.com/ The "plex" is at http://off2trade.com/public/ <-- It is suitable for public consumption. ;^) To get some idea of what we have indexed see our sitemap at http://off2trade.com/sitemap/sitemap.html. Currently, the sitemap is intended for other search engines not visitors. However, it will give you an idea of what you can find at off2trade and show where you have been as indicated by your visited links.

Tip: MINIMIZE the plex when you find a web site you like, click the red triangle in the upper left corner of the plex. Click it again to expand the plex and resume your selection of another web site. The plex is there to help you surf different, not to get in your way. One more thing, toggle F11 to see more or less content in your web browser.

I love StumbleUpon, but I've been dormant for a long time. If I am to serve your needs, that has to change. So, here we go:

Ange, one of our fellow stumblers, is developing the home page for off2trade and other page on the site. She is our current webmaster. So, does that make me a webslave in a master-slave relationship? NO!, not hardly. I'd rather think of myself as a webgod! ;^)

Actually, I am the site administrator and resident programmer for the project. Should you wish to get involved too, we will consider your request. After all, this is a community oriented project.

Off2Trade features a novel navigation system called a "plex" and a private search engine. The plex and search engine contain hundreds of popular web sites. Most of sites we index are geared towards helping you to get things done more effectively, and efficiently, with some just for fun. Yes, we do have a little variety and we do like fun!

Join us and campaign for the inclusion of your favorite sites or the removal of less favored sites. Or, consider joining us in the effort. There is plenty of work to do, we might need another volunteer.

Most recently, ktimko, another stumbler has joined in our effort. She has been helping to ferret out bugs that might find their way into the works, as well as suggesting changes to make your experience even more pleasurable.

She, ktimko, left this post on off2trade's guestbook: "Great work, David! You totally amaze me with what you do in such little time!"

I appreciate the comment, but it actually took more time than you might think. My secret is that I DON'T SLEEP! ;^)

No really, a lot of forethought and discussion went into this long before we started to build. When the time was right, we just took it from the drawing board to the prototype. So far the site is less than 10 days old, but contains 100's of popular web sites already. We intend to place a cap on how many web sites we index. I'm thinking that perhaps 500 should suffice? What do you think?

I have just spent two days building a web site designed to help you get more out of your Internet experience. This site now contains over 200 web pages. It features a novel navigation method called a 'plex'. Use the plex to navigate through many worthy web sites.

I'm starting a new community oriented web project. I'm busy creating web pages, writing scripts, and installing software.

Stumble! has been quite helpful in the discovery process.

I found SmartStartMenu, a software freebie for Windows, quite helpful. I strongly recommend it to those of you still stumbling around in the Start Menu and Desktop, looking for that hard to find program you installed. ;)
